Anthony Milian

Anthony Milian graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance with Honors Distinction and a minor in Integrative Approaches to Health & Wellness in May 2018. After graduation, Anthony attended Springboard Danse Montreal, working with Shannon Gillen of Vim Vigor (2019), & performing work by Alejandro Cerrudo (2018). In Montreal, he was selected by Alexandra Wells to receive a full scholarship to Hubbard Street’s Professional Training Program, where he worked with a plethora of choreographers like Peter Chu, and Adam Barruch. After completion of the training program, Anthony accepted an apprenticeship with world renowned Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. During his time with Hubbard Street, he worked as an understudy for work by Crystal Pite, Rena Butler, Alejandro Cerrudo, among others. Anthony was scheduled to perform as an ensemble member in Ohad Naharin’s DecaDance Chicago, with the main Company of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. Anthony has also worked as a freelance artist with different choreographers and groups throughout the United States; performing with Stephanie Martinez in Las Vegas, & Phoenix, & Daniel Roberts in Columbus, Seattle, and tentatively Iceland in Summer 2021. During University, he had the pleasure of accepting an International Research Grant to travel, perform, teach, and tour through many cities in Denmark and Lucca, Italy in Summer of 2017. With extensive experience in performance, repertory, and creation, Anthony is looking forward to working with Jodie Randolph for the first time, a long awaited experience as an Ypsilanti Native.
