Join Jodie Randolph and the Ann Arbor dance community for an open level contemporary class on Thursday mornings!
This class is geared toward the mature mover who has had at some dance training, whether past or present. It will progress through a full warm-up starting from the spine, work toward the extremities, and include opportunity for structured material and improvisation. Contemporary foundations will be taught through a series of shorter combinations that culminate into a larger phrase. The class combines Bartenieff and release principles with an emphasis on spinal articulations, fluidity, and transitions.
This is a drop-in class ($15/class or $60/5 classes). Cash, Venmo, or PayPal are accepted. Please fill out the contact information at the bottom of this page before your first class. You only need to fill this out one time regardless of how many classes you attend. Can't wait to move with you!
