Kara Brody is a native of Detroit, Michigan and moved to Chicago in 2016. Since being there, she has presented work in collaboration with Amanda Maraist at High Concept Labs and Links Hall. She is in her third season with Lucky Plush Productions and in process with Khecari under the direction of Jonathan Meyer and Julia Rae Antonick. Kara performed works by Shannon Alvis and Kevin Iega Jeff in The Cambrians' Chicago Dances 2017. She was also part of Brendan Fernandes' Art by Snapchat installation at the Museum of Contemporary Arts. Kara holds a BFA in Dance from Wayne State University.
