The work questions the undeniable tensions in our world through the subject of interpersonal conflict. Innate opposition becomes the source of investigation, offering a deep reflection of the polarity within ourselves. Our complicated need for human connection is countered by the wars that ensue between nations, between people, and ultimately within. This piece served as Jodie Randolph's MFA Thesis in 2018 and is final of three seed pieces for Two Twelve. |

A contrast between the individual versus the collective, this short work explores themes of dependence, individuality, and manipulation. Set in motion by a series of reactions that reach for a tipping point and question the boundary between self and other.
An original short work created on the students of The Dance Shoppe during a creative residency in the summer of 2017. It is the second of three seed pieces for Two Twelve.

December 2016 | Howell, MI 4 minutes A response to the work that generated through choreographic research during graduate school, Jodie Randolph created this short work on the students of X2 pre-professional dance company in 2016. Performers: Catherine Denny, Kaylan Gardner, Olivia Hoehn, Joey Matter, Sarah Repovz Two Finds Two was re-staged on a group of 22 students from The Dance Shoppe during a creative residency in 2017. The re-stage premiered in January of 2018. Two Finds Two is the first of three seed pieces for Two Twelve. |
