Sean Howe, an Ohio native, is a YoungArts Modern Dance Winner and 2013 Presidential Scholar in the Arts. He graduated from The Juilliard School (under Lawrence Rhodes) with a BFA in Dance in 2017. Upon graduating, Sean received the Héctor Zaraspe Prize for Choreography and the Juilliard Career Advancement Fellowship. His choreography has been presented in numerous shows at Juilliard and across New York City, in addition to setting choreography and teaching across the United States and Canada. Sean has completed arts and community outreach service in NYC, New Orleans, and Gaborone, Botswana, Africa. He currently dances for Gallim Dance (Andrea Miller) and MADBOOTS Dance (Jonathan Campbell & Austin Diaz) in NYC, in addition to modeling, writing, and practicing Reiki. In August, Sean will be moving to Israel to apprentice with BatSheva – The Young Ensemble based in Tel Aviv. Sean is indebted to and beyond grateful for his family and friends for their love and support.
